Ernie Doling wasn’t just our co-founder—he was, my father, friend, coach and the heart behind 3D Pathways. His booming voice, laughter, and bear-hug warmth made every person he met feel seen and valued. Ernie believed deeply in the power of love, learning, and faith to transform lives. Whether he was coaching a football team, teaching in the classroom, or sitting beside someone in pain, he brought encouragement, wisdom, and a quiet strength that reflected his unwavering trust in God.

 

Those who knew him remember his trademark grin and his joyful phrase, “I’m supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!”—a perfect snapshot of his boundless optimism and humor. Ernie lived his life in service to others, guiding, teaching, and lifting up those around him. His influence continues to ripple through our work each day, reminding us to lead with compassion, integrity, and hope.

 

At 3D Pathways, we honor Ernie’s legacy by continuing the mission he helped build—walking beside individuals and families as they heal, grow, and discover their own paths toward wholeness. Though we miss him deeply, his spirit remains ever-present in the laughter, learning, and love shared within our community.
